These are the commitments the whole portfolio is built around, not marketing lines.
Chios sits at the eastern edge of the EU, an authentic setting for the ageing, isolation, uneven access to services and digital exclusion shared by many rural, peripheral and island communities across Europe. Field-based activities are planned with an indoor or sheltered equivalent, so a course runs reliably through the year without weakening its learning outcomes.
We do not sell or promote a commercial product. Tools are shown as examples; the concepts, methods and workflows participants take away are transferable and adaptable as technology changes.
Where a course touches artificial intelligence, human responsibility, appropriate oversight, data protection and verification of outputs are built into the design.
Every course is designed to leave participants with something usable, such as a lesson or workshop plan, an action plan, a learning scenario, an assessment rubric or a dissemination plan.

Teaching Assignment
A theme-based mobility built around what your group wants to learn — digital inclusion, island education, sustainability or community learning — combining study visits, thematic workshops, peer-learning meetings and teaching assignments.

A structured placement with a host in Chios: observe practice directly, compare it with your own, and leave with a concrete plan to test what you learned.

A five-day course on teaching and school leadership in small, remote and island communities — using Chios as the case study, and your own region as the point of comparison.

A practical method for cross-curricular physical-computing projects: generic microcontroller boards and block-based programming, simulated before they are wired, and assessed with a rubric rather than a show-and-tell.
Adult Education
A practical method for designing intergenerational digital-inclusion programmes: recruiting and briefing peer mentors, teaching through real-life tasks, and measuring whether confidence and social connection actually improve.

A practitioner’s course on generative and agentic AI in education: how to set goals an AI system can actually meet, verify what it produces, keep a human in the loop, and decide what it should never do alone.
